Over the past 30 years, here is a recap of what I have accomplished.
2007 Spanish Broadcaster,
Los Angeles Angels, Anaheim, CA. On air Spanish Play-by-play
announcer for all 162 games. Provided play-by-play coverage and color
commentary. I also did 53 solos for the Angels.
1994- 2006 Spanish Broadcaster, San Francisco
Giants, San Francisco, CA. On-air Spanish play-by-play announcer; provided play-by-pay coverage and commentary for the San
Francisco Giants baseball organization.
2003-2006
Spanish Broadcaster, KXLY Radio, Spokane Radio Group, Spokane, WA. The first Spanish announcer for the Seattle Mariners. Play-by-play
action for all home games for the Seattle Mariners, 9 innings.
1992-1998 Spanish Broadcaster, Golden
State Warriors, Oakland, CA. The first
Spanish announcer for the Golden State Warriors. Provided all the coverage for the Golden State
Warriors in Spanish.
1978-1993
Spanish Broadcaster, Oakland Athletics, Oakland, CA. This was the first team that broadcasted in Spanish in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Charlie Finley gave me permission to broadcast one game a week, tape delay basis. During the “Tony
La Russa” era, all home games were broadcasted live and the away games were “re-created”, in studio.
